If your fridge uses an RPWFE filter (as in E for electronic), then RPWF filters won’t work out of the box. The RPWFE has an RFID tag that ‘talks to’ your fridge. Some customers have reported a workaround: carefully remove the sticker from an old RPWFE filter and transfer it to an RPWF replacement such as the R-3600. You may see a “time to replace the filter” message on your dispenser screen (there is no way to reset this), but the filter should work.
